EASY READ

Talking with my aid.

This is the easy read version. It has short sentences and pictures. You can press Listen to hear it read out.

What this is about

An aid is something that helps you.

For example: a wheelchair, a hearing aid, a stick, a pump, or medicine.

People can have mixed feelings about their aid.

You can love it and hate it. That is OK.

How to do it

Imagine your aid could talk.

What would it say to you?

What would you say back?

What does your aid give you?

What does it cost you?

Remember

Mixed feelings do not mean you are ungrateful.

You can stop at any time.

You can say no. You do not have to say why.

Therapy carries on. It is still OK.
